Information for Traveling Patients
The Pelvic Health and Rehabilitaiton Center offers individuallzed treatment programs for patients that need to travel for treatment. Our physical therapists are available via email or telephone to help you determine if you are an appropriate candidate for our program.
Evaluation and treatment programs vary based on the patient's needs and wants. The Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center offers the following services:
- Thorough Physical Therapy Evaluation
- Individualized Treatment Plan
- Daily Treatment Sessions
- Spouse/Partner Training
- Training Program for Your Local Physical Therapist
- Lifestyle Modifications and Home Exercise Program
- Patient and Family Educational Materials
- Evaluation and Treatment Summary
- Follow-up with Patient and Local Providers via Phone and E-mail
Patients may choose to come to PHRC for either an evaluation only or for evaluation and treatment. New patient evaluations are two hours in length for traveling patients. Following the initial evaluation, your physical therapist will offer you an assessment and treatment options. We recommend two to four follow-up treatments within the week. However, we will individualize the plan based on your goals.
